Kambaba Jasper (also called Crocodile Jasper or Kabamba Jasper) is a distinctively patterned opaque rock characterized by a dark forest-green base, deep black orbs, and swirling dark circles. Despite its name, Kambaba Jasper is not technically a jasper. It is a volcanic rock (rhyolite) composed of quartz, pyroxene, and feldspar.
