Gold Obsidian (often called Gold Sheen Obsidian) is a natural volcanic glass formed when lava cools rapidly. It is distinguished by its deep black or dark brown base color, which contains shimmering, metallic golden or bronze highlights. This optical effect is created by microscopic gas bubbles and mineral inclusions (like magnetite) that were trapped as the lava flowed and cooled.

It is said to be deeply connected to the Solar Plexus chakra, which governs confidence, willpower, and personal authority. It is believed to dissolve ego-driven blocks and help you manifest your desires. Like all obsidian, it acts as a shield against negativity and psychic attacks.
